1.   Make sure that your commentary focuses on the requirements for the position .

2.   Volunteer an explanation of employment gaps, as Interviewers will often ask about these.

3.   If you worked in a temporary or consulting capacity that is not included in resume, have in mind the names of companies you worked for, what you did for them and the dates and approximate length of your assignments.

4.   If you did not work but did search for a job, give some examples of your research relating to those job opportunities.

5.   Emphasize the process you went through to find the position for which you are being interviewed.
